“Of course you can!”- Katherine Mansfield
Brevity is one of the most underused skills that we have in our arsenal, when President Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address he was preceded by Everett Edmonds, a statesman that delivered an oration that lasted nearly three hours with over 13,500 words; conversely Lincoln’s speech lasted five minutes, approximately 260 words – his lives in infamy.
In addition, the simplistic quote above speaks to the power of self-affirmation – the belief in oneself, one’s ability to achieve goes far beyond our comprehension – as humans we – YOU – have an extraordinary ability to achieve greatness but it does begin with you.
Simplicity and self affirmation – two keys to success in life.
When you ask the question, ‘…can I do that?’
“Of course you can!”
Until next week, continued success…Cliff
