Quicksell Creates Industry Consulting & Education Company
FREDERICK, MD – November 20, 2004 – With a “brand name” that’s become synonymous with cutting-edge creativity and marketing ingenuity, Cliff Quicksell, Jr., MAS has started Cliff Quicksell & Associates, Inc.

As a distributor, supplier, author and frequent education speaker both in the U.S. and overseas, Quicksell has amassed more than 20 years – and countless awards and accolades – in the industry and is looking forward to helping other companies find sustainable success.

“I feel there’s a tremendous need for more in-depth, hands-on training in the industry, and I believe I can help fill that void,” says Quicksell. “Trade shows offer phenomenal educational opportunities; however, they often occur at inopportune times. My comprehensive consultation and educational sessions can augment the education that already exists in the industry – and with offices on both the east and west coast, I can easily travel to any office, trade show or event.”

Quicksell, who just finished his two-year management agreement with Headwear-USA LLC to launch its business in the U.S., was a key reason the company exceeded its expectations of sales and market penetration during that time.

Maintaining that both distributors and suppliers are financially stretched and starved for time, Quicksell believes he can offer them the affordable, cognitive training at all levels – from novice to advanced – they seek. “For those who would prefer more intensive, one-on-one time, personal training and coaching will be available on-site as well.”

Suppliers can benefit from his training and consulting, Quicksell says, in that he can assist them with targeted direct marketing campaigns, business development plans, sales growth, and building name recognition.

He can show distributors how to put together successful self-promotion campaigns, hone their presentation skills and offer ways to increase sales and get new clients. “Additionally, I can work with multi-line reps to help them develop marketing tools that will deliver measurable results for their supplier partners,” says Quicksell, who won PPAI’s award for creativity in promotions, the Golden Pyramid, for 14 consecutive years.

Quicksell has been speaking, training and consulting internationally to associations and national business groups for more than 17 years. He won PPAI’s “Ambassador Speaker of the Year” award for six straight years, and was the inaugural recipient of its “Distinguished Service” award in 1997. Quicksell was singled out as having a significant influence on industry education in the book PPAI at 100, and in 2004 he was recognized by Counselor as being one of the industry’s “50 Most Influential People.”

With nearly 260 published articles, Quicksell has contributed to various trade magazines such as Impressions, PPB, Counselor, Advantages, Successful Promotions (formerly Imprint), Imprint Canada, A&E magazine, Marketing Tools, Identity Marketing, Brilliant Results, Promowear and Printwear magazines, as well as authoring the book Going for the Gold: 15 Steps to Successful, Award-Winning Promotions. Additionally, he has spoken at industry shows throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
